Meet Dom — the vision behind our work

I didn’t always know I wanted to be a cinematographer. Straight out of school, I found myself working in an insurance office in Melbourne—surrounded by paperwork and fluorescent lights that never quite fit who I was. At the time, life was more about footy and friends than finding purpose. But over time, a quiet restlessness set in. I knew there had to be something more.

That spark came when I discovered the company’s internal video unit and watched a mate begin training as a cameraman at the ABC. Something clicked. I enrolled in Media and Communications at university, and by the time I graduated, I was offered a job in that same studio. It was the first time I felt truly aligned—behind the lens, helping stories come to life.

When the recession hit, I moved to the UK, British passport in hand, ready for reinvention. That move marked the beginning of my journey into digital cinematography, and I’ve never looked back.

Over the years, my camera has taken me across continents, into boardrooms, onto film sets, and deep into people’s stories. I’ve always had a passion for documentaries, learning, and travel. I’m drawn to the beauty and aesthetics of the world—capturing high-quality, meaningful content that doesn’t just look good but feels real and has depth.

For me, video isn’t just content. It’s a tool for connection, a mirror for truth, and a way to express the essence of a person or brand. That’s why I do what I do.
